Crowning Mission Event Announces 2009 Poster Kids

Starkey Hearing Foundation hosted a jubilant collection of hearing-impaired children and adults from as far away as El Salvador, as the mission served as the kick-off event of its week-long "So the World May Hear" Awards Gala festivities. Through this local hearing mission, children and adults were fit with digital, state-of-the-art hearing instruments. In a press ceremony opening the mission, local VIPs and Friend of the Foundation Former Miss America Heather Whitestone McCallum teamed up to support the hearing recipients and to announce the 2009 Starkey Hearing Foundation Poster Children.
